I am a PhD Candidate at the Syracuse University – Department of Physics.
My research is in gravitational wave astrophysics and hydrodynamic simulations of astrophysical phenomena. For the former, I analyze gravitational-wave signals in the LIGO-Virgo observatories’ data using signal processing, uncertainty estimation, and template matching techniques to measure parameters of neutron star and black hole binaries, and constrain the nuclear equation of state. For the latter, I use computer simulations, numerical and mathematical methods to model astrophysical fluid flows in stellar structures, accretion disks, outflows, and nucleosynthesis from neutron star mergers.
